My Priorities

Youth Issues

Knowledge is empowerment and we need to find more creative approaches to empower our youth. Quality education is part of our basic human rights as Americans. Education needs to start at birth and continue for life.

Immigration

My views on immigration are based around the core belief that our country was founded by immigrants who deserve respect for taking such a life changing course and risk with their lives.

As our country has evolved so have the waves of people that now come from all parts of the planet.

Veterans

We have a moral obligation to provide the best quality care to those who have put their lives on the line to defend us. We need to increase access to medical care, expedite financial benefits and provide education to the benefits that are available to veterans.

Small Business Growth

The way to revitalize the business sector in District 29 is to support startup and mid-size companies by demanding better access to financing, better bankruptcy laws, and easier access to the technologies

Water and Energy

We need to protect our waterways and drinking supply by reducing the risk of contamination, giving residents better information about existing risks and ensure that when contamination is found, the responsible parties are held accountable.

We must adopt clean sources of energy by ending the public subsidies that keeps dirty sources of energy artificially cheap, and instead promote renewable sources: solar, wind, and hydro.
